Overview of Entrance Examination and Requirements for Applicants
Selection of entrants at the University of Nagano consists of general selection (first term and mid-term), which is based on a combination of the examination at the University Entrance Examination Center and an individual academic ability test; principal recommendation, which is based on recommendation by the applicant’s high school principal; self-recommendation; and special selection, which applies to working members of society, returnees, and privately-funded international students.
