Department of Global Management Studies, Faculty of Global Management Studies

The Department of Global Management Studies confers degrees on those who have acquired the qualities and skills below and earned the prescribed number of units by completing the prescribed General Education and Professional Licensing Programs and Technical Training established to achieve the educational objectives.
■Common
  • Education and communication skills for understanding global English, diverse values, and different cultures and interacting with others
  • Leadership for independently setting goals and collaborating to achieve them with an excellent sense of humanity and strong ethical values and the ability to logically identify paths to achievement
  • Specialist knowledge and ability to live boldly in order to blaze trails into the future and take up challenges on a global basis
  • Logical thinking skills to address various challenges of modern society from a global perspective
■Global Business Course
  • Specialist knowledge to accurately understand various challenges of corporate management and management skills to solve them
■Entrepreneurship Course
  • Awareness of social and regional problems and ability to identify new business opportunities and plan business creation
■Public Management Course
  • Specialist of knowledge of public management to accurately understand various challenges of local society and skills to come up with plans to solve them

Department of Food and Health Sciences, Faculty of Health and Human Development

The Department of Food and Health Sciences confers degrees on those who have acquired the qualities and skills below and earned the prescribed number of units by completing the prescribed General Education and Professional Licensing Programs and Technical Training established to achieve the educational objectives.

  • Interest in human relationships and ability to support people’s health through food
  • Ability to engage in lifelong, self-directed learning
  • Ability to engage in health-related activities in the region through food while maintaining a global perspective for studying food culture and dietary habits in depth
  • Ability to achieve their mission adhering to their ethical values as a Registered Dietician and Nutritionist

Department of Child Development and Education, Faculty of Health and Human Development

The Department of Child Development and Education confers degrees on those who have acquired the qualities and skills below and earned the prescribed number of units by completing the prescribed General Education and Professional Licensing Programs and Technical Training established to achieve the educational objectives.
  • Specialist knowledge and support skills to create childcare taking advantage of regional and social characteristics while maintaining a global perspective for clarifying the challenges for healthy child development and studying child rearing and childcare in depth.
  • Logical and practical skills to create a better environment for child rearing and development by supporting children and guardians at the nursery and classroom
  • Ability to comprehensively plan and carry out childcare and education appropriate for small children with excellent expressiveness and sensitivity based on an understanding of the characteristics of children at this stage
  • General skills such as identifying challenges, gathering information, analytical thinking, expressiveness, and communication skills to solve challenges through ongoing learning as a child care provider and collaboration with others
